Google account connection
Send-only Gmail access, clearly explained.
Connecting Gmail is optional. Rhythm requests your Google account email address to identify the connected account and the narrow gmail.send permission to send reports you configure. Rhythm cannot use this permission to read, search, modify, or delete your Gmail messages.
Digest content travels directly from the installed Rhythm application to Google’s Gmail API. The refresh credential is encrypted with Windows data protection and stored on the local computer. Disconnecting Gmail asks Google to revoke the authorization and removes the local credential.
